When I asked our previous accountant whether our company would be better financially, operating as a partnership rather than a limited company, I was told it would be swings and roundabouts! After consulting with Ade at Frampton House accountants, he made it very clear the financial implications of both options. leaving us able to make an informed decision as to whether to make a change or not. I feel like I have a much clearer understanding of how we are taxed and in keeping more efficient records for our business. My only reservation was that Ade encouraged us to make the leap to digital accounting, using the software FreeAgent, which comes included in our monthly accountancy package. After using spreadsheets designed by myself, specifically for our business, for 15 years, I was reluctant to make the change. I was concerned the transition would be complicated, and worried I would struggle to understand it. How wrong was I! It is a joy to use! I love it! It’s so easy. Ade dealt with all the initial set up, gave full training, and is still on hand if I make a mistake or need to learn something new. But it is pretty self explanatory, and with it automatically working out and filing our VAT, so much less time consuming than my old spreadsheet method. Happy days!
